Scotch Plains - Frances M. Ward, 83, died Friday (February 26, 2010) at Overlook Hospital. Born in Newark, she was a longtime resident of Scotch Plains.
Mrs. Ward was employed by Wachovia Bank in Westfield before retiring as Vice President of the Trust Department. She was also a member of Fanwood Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband, James; her daughter, Frances Wozniak; two sons, Douglas and James Ward; and four grandchildren, Jennifer and David Farrell and Shannon and Jenna Ward.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 2-3 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Avenue, Fanwood, where a memorial service will be conducted at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or St. Hubert's Animal Shelter.
