Albert Block, of Westfield, died Friday (February 19, 2010) at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in Forest Hills, Queens, NY, before moving to Westfield 40 years ago.
Mr. Block was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Force. Before retirement he was a businessman, most recently associated with Ardwyn Binding in Belleville.
He is survived by his wife, Blossom; two sons, a sister; and two grandsons.
Visitation will be at Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Ave., Fanwood, on Tuesday from 4-7. Services on Wednesday will be private to the family.
