Fanwood – Edward G. Garbus, 83, died Saturday February 6, 2010. Born in Linden, he has lived in Fanwood for 55 years.
Mr. Garbus was a veteran of WWll serving in the Coast Guard and after graduating from Michigan State University he worked as a package engineer retiring from Johnson and Johnson, Corp.
He is survived by his wife Constance, his son Michael and his daughters Clara Schneider and her husband Philip and Elizabeth Frasco. Also surviving are his sister Helen Susalis and his grandchildren Michael, James and Ryan Garbus, Amy Rose and her husband Eric, Stephen Schneider and Alexander Frasco.

Funeral arrangements were held privately through Memorial Funeral Home, 155 South Avenue, Fanwood.
